James E. Pearce is a family owned and run business which was started in London in the late 1950's by Jim Pearce. In 1968 the company moved to the picturesque village of Wisborough Green in the heart of West Sussex.

The business has expanded over the years as its reputation for knowledge and quality of work has spread, involving the purchase of adjacent land and the recruitment of additional staff. This has enabled a wider variety of work to be undertaken at the site.

Over the years the business has acquired a detailed knowledge of original Bentley coachwork and fittings brought about through personal experience, a large collection of historic photographs and much documentation.

David Pearce, having worked closely with his father Jim in the business for over thirty years, took over the ownership and running of the company in February 2000. This has allowed Jim to retire, although he still provides valued consultancy.

David is a regular judging official at the annual Bentley Drivers Club concours and attends various Bentley events.
